At present the Society is raising money to purchase and renovate the old
Bailey's store. We hope to use it as a place to store as well as display our artifacts
and well as a place to prepare the artifacts for display. The project is being sponsored
by Harpswell Historical Society and the Harpswell Garden Club. If you

Bailey's Store viewed from the Harpswell Historic

For many years Bailey's Store was a gathering
place for discussing politics, cards and other games or just passing
the time. In this photograph from around 1900, from left to right,
