The Harpswell Historical Society is dedicated to the discovery, identification, collection, preservation, interpretation, and dissemination of materials relating to the history of Harpswell and its people. |

At present the Society is raising money to purchase and renovate the old Bailey's store. We hope to use it as a place to store as well as display our artifacts and well as a place to prepare the artifacts for display. The project is being sponsored by Harpswell Historical Society and the Harpswell Garden Club.
